Leighton Buzzard
Options for further education in LU7 are hard to come by, unless you count the Maharishi University of Natural Law in Mentmore. Leighton-Linslade are home to both Cedars Upper School on Mentmore Road and Vandyke Upper School on Vandyke Road. Southcot Lower School is located on the highly residential Bideford Green in Linslade. Being a rural area, local amenities are not as abundant as they are in towns or cities. The Library Theatre on Lake Street in Leighton Buzzard doubles as a, you guessed it, library and theatre. Tiddenfoot Pit, Linslade Wood and Stockgrove Country Park on Brickhill Road provide venues for outdoor activity. Numerous golf clubs exist in the postcode while Bury Farm on Mill Road in Slapton is home to a world class equestrian centre. The 18th century Ford End Watermill on Station Road in Ivinghoe hasn't been in use since the 1960s although it has been renovated into a tourist attraction. The Ascott House on Leighton Road in Wing has an impressive art collection and garden. The Leighton Buzzard Railway on Billington Road was built in 1919 and is one of the few remaining narrow gauge railways. Pitstone Green Museum on Vicarage Road details the history of the area, while the 17th century Pitstone Windmill has been restored to its former glory.
Take advantage of Secret Salons UK audience and target 3 postcodes for £5/month and city-based advertising for £50/month.
