The most famous attraction in the area is undoubtedly Hampstead Heath, which is one of the largest city parks in the world. The Spaniards Inn on Spaniards Road is also worth a visit, with a large beer garden and many famous historical frequenters, including John Constable, Lord Byron and William Blake. Also, according to legend, Dick Turpin, the highwayman, was born in The Spaniards Inn. Camden Arts Centre on Arkwright Road hosts a range of exhibitions, workshops, film screenings and art courses and is a major attraction for anyone interested in the creative arts. For avid cinema-goers the Everyman Cinema on Holly Bush Vale is the place to go. As well as being one of the oldest cinemas in the world, the cinema boasts comfortable seating, a bar and original and unusual cinema snacks. New End Theatre can be found on New Endand is an intimate venue, with just 84 seats. For eating out in the area, Haverstock Hill is the place to visit, with a wide range of restaurants.
