Hove BN3
Hove has its own train station on Goldstone Villas with a direct route to London, meaning residents of Hove need not go through Brighton to reach the Capital. Education in Hove consists of many primary schools and multiple secondary and further education institutions. Secondary schools include Cardinal Newman Catholic School while Brighton, Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC) highlights the post-secondary options. Brighton is home to both the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex. Hove is known for its many parks and sprawling lawns. Brunswick Square, Palmeira Square and Adelaide Crescent provide the perfect compliment to Hove's shoreline. Between Kingsway and the beach are the Hove Lawns providing a cooler and calmer place to enjoy the sea. Hove Park is located farther away from the shore and offers a miniature railway track. Places to eat, drink and shop abound to accommodate the many tourists that visit Hove. Restaurants include The Arrogant Frog, opened by acclaimed chef Rosario Guarneri, on Church Road. Most come to Hove for the beach, which is quieter and less populated than Brighton's. The Hove Museum and the Hove Ikon Gallery showcase the town's disproportionately large arts scene. Hove Lagoon provides a venue for watersports of all kinds. The Sussex County Cricket Club plays on the County Cricket Ground on Eaton Road in Hove. Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club have selected nearby Falmer for its proposed new stadium. Brighton and Hove host many festivals throughout the year, including the Brighton Festival in May.
