About Healthy Vibes Fitness

Disappointed by inflexibility! Healthy Vibes is a very good PowerPlate gym with nice and professional instructors, and you do get the results they promise you. However, as a (now past!) reliable client, I’ve been recently disappointed with the service offered by administration/manager staff. In the run up to my August 2010 wedding I booked the ‘Quick Fix’ package of 9 classes totalling £90. Appreciating the fact that you have to use the classes quickly as Healthy Vibes have a ‘use-by’ rule, I did 3 classes a week over the period of 3 weeks. Pleased with results, I then booked another ‘Quick Fix’ package once the first had come to an end, thus far spending £180. I was then encouraged to purchase another ‘Quick Fix’ package in order to squeeze in some more classes before my wedding, which I did at another cost of £90, thus making my total spend with Healthy Vibes £270. Of my last ‘Quick Fix’ package I have owed to me 3 classes. I called them today to inform them that I am going on my honeymoon and returning on the 16th August (2 days after my classes ‘expire’) and could they kindly extend the expiry on my 3 remaining classes, even for a few days. They were adamant that they could not do this for me and the best they could offer was an extended expiry on these existing classes if I purchased 4 more. I explained that this was not exactly a suitable solution for me at this present moment in time because I had a short window of time on my return before attending my friend’s wedding in Ireland, taking me away again for a week. With their strict ‘use-by’ rule, I explained that purchasing more classes at this time would leave me in the same position as before; I would not be able to use them all in time. I suggested my friend, who has been using Healthy Vibes gym for a while herself, take my classes but this was also refused. The lady I spoke to said there was nothing she could do, this was their rule as flexibility in the past meant they lost out and it wouldn’t be “good business sense” to let me have an extension... I don’t know about you but I don’t think it has been ‘good business sense’ to have lost a customer through inflexibility. I start my teaching job again in September and with routine back in my working week, I was going to purchase more classes but now this will not be happening.
