About Rani Mirza Beauty Salon

Do not get the red carpet facial, it will leave your skin looking horrible!Getting married I wanted my skin to look as good as possible so I googled 'best facial in London' and Rani came up. I visited a few times and saw Sam (who subsequenltly went back to South Afrcia) for a deep cleaning treatment which was pretty pricey for what it was but Sam was very good. I then said I was getting married and wanted the red carpet facial, would it be ok to have the facial the day before my wedding so that my skin would have enough time to calm down (the treatment involves dermabrasion and most therapists recommend a week). I was repeatedly reassured that I could have it the day before, or even the day of because it was so gentle my skin would look radiant. Cut to the facial. It was with Rani. Lets just say my skin did not look red carpet (although the next day the subsequent breakout spots were the same colour as a red carpet!). I came out the facial and my skin didnt look airbrushed or glowy as promised, it actually looked a bit blotchy and shiney. I asked Rani what to do if my skin flared up, she said it wouldn't but I insisted and she gave me some samples to take back. I'm so glad I insisted because the next day (my wedding day) my skin had broken out; it was spotty, blemished and blotchy. I could actually see it coming up in the evening and used the samples in the hope they would get rid of any bumps or discolouration in the morning. They didnt. My skin before was a bit bumpy and the facial, instead of calming or removing the bumps as a good facial would, aggravated them. I wanted to cry, I had forked out £170 to have my skin ruined on my wedding day. Thankfully I had an amazing make up artist who made my skin look smooth and glowy. Girls (and boys) please do not go there and AVOID the red carpet facial. As an addition, being the day before I just wanted to not think about the wedding but was repeatedly being asked questions when I just wanted to relax. She should start the conversation with 'do you want to talk about it' perhaps. AVOID and spend your money elsewhere, and please do not go there thinking you will look red carpet perfect like I did, you won't.
