• Very good service for a good price Reviewed by Cazza99 on 2010-09-12 10:57:14 I went to Java for the first time on 10/9/10. After having had an awful experience at Supercuts at Liverpool Street, I found out that a lot of hairdressers are not state registered with the Hairdressing Council. I looked up on their website for decent salons in my home town (as the salons in the area where I'm staying in London only deal with Afro hair). Found Java. It was easy to get an appointment at short notice. The salon is very modern and clean, plus they have screens you can watch to keep you occupied whilst having your hair done. You get a nice head massage with your shampoo. The main thing was that the hairdresser actually took time to sit down and listen carefully to exactly what you want done to your hair. This is something which doesn't seem to happen very often anymore at a lot of salons. The hairdresser didn't rush and managed to sort out the mess that Supercuts had done to my hair. Very grateful and will definitely be returning. It's great to finally find a decent salon. The owner of the salon was very friendly too and as a new customer you receive a free goody bag, with a voucher for a friend. Very recommended. 5

• Posted on: 2012-04-26 21:48:18 I would be a first time customer and I'm looking to re-dye my hair blonde. I had always been blonde until November last year when I decided to use a home dye pack and go red-which I loved, but faded too fast. So I went over it with a ash brown colour. My colour at the moment is a light and faded brown, and I'm wondering how much it would cost for me to go back blonde and dye it properly, or if there's a danger it'll go an awful colour if I try and do it at home! I dont want to go bleach blonde, but quite a light blonde would be nice. I'm on a student budget and looking for somewhere cheap! Thank you Millie
