About HSL Milk & Honey Spa Nails
I was completely ripped off at this spa. I went for a pedicure and french tip nails, plus an eylash and eyebrow tint and upper lip and eybrow wax. The manicurist was pushy and told me a needed to have the supplement to the pedicure to remove hard skin and calluses. This product burned my feet and one month later the skin on my foot is still not back to normal. They tried to push every additional service possible, without advising on the price. The false nails were dreadful and hurt, they did not even last one week and I had to go somewhere else to rectify their shoddy work. Face peeled after the waxing, wax too hot, eyelash tint didn't last a week and eyebrow tint was far too dark. All in all this is the worse place I have ever been to and as an out of towner I was completed ripped out. I was charged $373 for the above and every single treatment I had I suffered extremely unpleasant consequences afterwards and had to spend more money to rectify their apalling work. The womAn who appears to be the manager seems to be chatty and friendly but in fact is sizing you up to see how much she can dare to charge you. No price list is available or visible, but as there are many salons of this nature in the area, I assumed they would be similar in price - wrong! They make up the prices as they go along.I would recommend to anyone to avoid this salon at all costs, service is dreadful, the work is shoddy, they try and make you buy supplementary services and they lie about the prices. I regularly travel to New York for work and this is definitely the worse and most expensive place I have ever been to. For the price I paid I could have gone to a highly professional up-marked salon, not this pathetic excuse for a spa with unqualified personnel.DON'T GO THERE EVER!
