About Eden Hall Day Spa
As an end of term treat; me (Denise) and seven work colleagues (Angie, Carol, Julie, June, Sarah, Sue, Trish), all support staff from a primary school decided to spoil ourselves with a luxurious spa day. We range in age from 30 to 59.... and after the busy summer term we wanted a place close to us to enable us to unwind for the summer. We had a 45 minute drive, and found Eden Hall very easily. We chose the "Relaxed Day" experience, which was a fabulous day for the very reasonable price of £69.00. We were warmly greeted at reception and given our luxurious towels and towelling robe and shown to a spacious changing area (there are separate cubicles for more privacy, to get changed into) and we all had large lockers to safely put our belongings. We were given a tour of the facilities by a friendly lady and then we were left to make full use of all the facilities. We started off in the wonderfully light conservatory, where we all started to relax and we started the day with either coffees, teas or a fresh juice.... everyone were pleased with their choices. We then enjoyed the salt-water vitality swimming pool, and then wandered around the sauna, saunarium, steam, herbal and hot rooms. We also had fun in the ice room!! A few of the energetic amongst us enjoyed the exercise classes. We all met up again for lunch in the Seventh Heaven Restaurant, and the choice and standard of the food was amazing. We had two vegetarians in our group and they were very pleased with their food.There were plenty of showers for us to use at the end of the day, and plenty of hairdryers and mirrors!!We were all really impressed with the facilities at Eden Spa, it was fantastic good value and was the perfect place to go with a group of girlfriends, as it was large enough and we didnt feel as though we were taking over. Would be just as good to go with a friend or alone as all the other guests were friendly and the staff were on hand but not pushy. A really good find!
