About Burlingtons & New ID Glasgow

I just had a make over at New ID and nothing can beat the feeling being treated like some sort of super model and being made to look fantastic.I was in serious need of a bit of me time and wanted a little break from giving it all to the husband and your kids and had been feeling for quite some time that I had not had any quality time to myself and figured this would be a great way to treat myself. Its not a wildly expensive experience if you do it the right way.You can get vouchers at a really reasonable price online which is great because it makes it an affordable experience. What I loved is that I got the impression that no matter how much you want to spend on the resulting pictures New ID make you feel like a million dollars. I ended up buying 8 pictures but I am sure that they would have been just as nice if I had brought less, after what I had read about pressure sales I was pretty surprised to find there were none. The quality of my hair cut at New ID was fantastic, they teamed up with Burlingtons so I already knew that I wouldn’t be disappointed with it because I have used them before. The make was great, I am now a huge fan of New ID cosmetics, they are really good for your skin and last for a lot longer than other brands that I have used that are actually a lot more pricy. The nails treatment is a little bit something and nothing, is only really colour but its OK for the purpose of the pictures. I really loved having my pictures taken, there is not awkwardness at all, they make you feel very comfortable and lead you through how to pose and how to stand, it all comes very naturally and you don’t feel at all on show, that was the only thing I was worried about before I went and it was in the end the part that I liked best. The viewing session was find and I got to spend plenty of time choosing which shots I want, there is no hard sales the staff are all really friendly and helpful so don’t believe any of this rubbish you read online about high pressure! I can tell you from personal experience that this is simply not the case.I hope you enjoy as much as I did and I know I will for sure be going again.

Would like to thank Kerry Louise for her friendly and helpful manner when I went into the salon on 30 April. My daughter and I had been for a pamper day which included photographs. However after waiting the appropriate time, I called into the salon to find out why I had not received them. Kerry Louise explained that the company had changed hands but endeavoured to find out what had happened to the photographs. Within 2 days, my photographs were received by post. Many thanks Kerry. Have great faith in your company

I got a groupon voucher for this hairdressers and it included a cut and blow dry and conditioning treatment. When I rang up to book the only time I could get in was at 8,30am. I rang that morning to get directions which they gave me over the phone and then when I got there they told me my appointment had been cancelled! Why she couldn't of told me over the phone and saved my journey I don't know? Then I rescheduled my appointment for another day at 8.30am. The girl on reception gave me vouchers off another haircut for compensation however these are available online to anyone! So not much compensation and I would never go back there again anyway! When I arrived for my next appointment I found the staff rude and unhelpful. I started to feel like I had made a huge mistake! I was told to sit and wait and then after 20 minutes I asked a member of staff what was going on as the place wasn't busy and I was just sat there. Eventually the hairdresser came over and seemed really unenthusiastic about having to do my hair. I didn't even get the conditioning treatment that was included. The hair cut was the worst I have ever had! One side shorter than the other ( wasn't meant to be) uneven at the back. I had to go to another hairdressers to fix the damage they had done and most of my hair was cut off!! This also cost me again so I ended up paying twice. I didn't complain to them at the time because the experience was just to awful and I felt the staff didn't care anyway and Didn't want that hairdresser to touch my hair again! Now on reading the reviews I realise I'm not alone. This was all just before Christmas and I have had to spend my Christmas miserable about my hair. They are the worst hairdressers I have ever been to!
