About The Garden of Eden Spa at Whitestake Farm Bed and Breakfast
have just been to the garden of eden spa and sitting in stunned disbelief at the way i have just been treated by the owner!basically they had failed to do our booked lunch which was bad enough but there was no apology from the owner. This would not have been a problem if they'd tried to sort it out but when we politeley asked just for a sandwich we were told there was no bread despite this being a bed and breakfast!! (obviously toast is not an option at breakfast!). At this point my friend is practically passing out - and eventually a black banana was produced, only over-ripe by about a week!What a shame the inability to sort out a very simple matter ruined our precious, supposed day of rest and relaxation. The treatments are good but my advice is, there's so many beautiful spas to choose from i suggest you go to one that doesn't insist you survive the day on a glass of water!

I went here with my daughter and five friends several years ago and the owners treatment of my daughter was appalling! Obviously nothing has changed judging by the previous review! We had booked lunch and two treatments each and one by one the therapists came and collected me and my friends I came back after an hour and my daughter was sitting by the pool - still waiting! The girls all returned and still no treatment for my daughter! The girls went off for their second treatment and still my daughter waited! When I complained I was treated as if I was a nuisance and eventually the owner said she had not got enough therapists and my daughter would either have to wait till the others had finished or do without! So much for relaxing my blood was boiling! I gave my daughter one of my treatments and asked for a partial refund- the answer was " no" the package was a half day deal for all of us and the treatments were complimentary! Needless to say I have never been back and would advise against anyone going who wants a relaxing time!
