We all love to have a bit of fun with our nails, whether it simply be through colouring them with a fantastic array of vibrant hues or creating elaborate patterns and nail art that would have delighted Picasso. Solange Knowles has long been left in the shadow of her older sister Beyonce - but in the nail world she's a Queen in her own right. Our favourite effort are these fantastic GB flag pointers that she brought along to an award ceremony in 2009. Click the picture to get a closer look!
2 - Katy Perry Nails It!
Anyone familiar with pop diva Katy Perry's Twitter page will know all about her nails - she gets them decorated at a rate of almost 300 times a day (ok, so we might be exaggerating slightly but it seems like that!). Our faves are her Oompah Loompahs for her 25th birthday celebration...amazing stuff!
1 - Rihanna Nails It!
We love Rihanna's smiley face nails, seen here at London's Jingle Ball last year - a layering of simple yellow nail varnish topped up with black faces painted on....it was so easy the Secret Salons office all had a go (to mixed success!)
