FAQ: Quick Make Up Tips For Ladies In a Hurry

Lots of us have to rush off to work in the morning, or have children to tend to, or just have so much packed into our diaries that we don't have the time to devote to beautifying. Here, we answer the questions that all those in a hurry want the answers to. You'll never leave the house looking anything but fabulous ever again!
Quick Make Up Tip One
I don’t have time to wash my hair every day, especially as I start work very early on some days. How can I keep it looking clean?
This is an issue that many ladies – and gents – have to contend with. Having greasy hair is a real nightmare, especially if you have a fringe. But don’t panic, there is a solution to this issue! It comes in the shape of dry shampoo, and can be an absolute life saver - it’s not just for festivals and people who don’t like washing. Just spray it onto your roots, brush through, and voila! Clean, fresh-looking hair. As well as absorbing grease, dry shampoo volumises your hair at the roots and can be bought in different scents to add a fresh smell. What’s more, if you suffer from dark, gown-out roots, it can instantly lighten them. And all in one bottle. Magic!
Quick Make Up Tip Two
My eyes look tired and puffy from sleep, but I have to go to work early! What can I do?
Here’s a make up trick that works wonders every time: grab some pale eye shadow - a pearly colour is perfect - and dab some in the inside corners of your eyes. It instantly revives and opens the eye, making you look fresh and wide-awake. Beats going for an early morning jog, no?
Quick Make Up Tip Three
I simply don’t have time to apply foundation before I leave the house in the morning. How can I get flawless looking skin in no time?
This is what tinted moisturiser was invented for. It comprises foundation and moisturiser in one product, which cuts down your total make up application time. It also gives a streak free, all over colour which is hard to achieve with foundation. Just massage into face and neck and ta-daa! Smooth, beautifully moisturised and flawless skin.
Quick Make Up Tip Four

A woman I work with always looks absolutely perfect, and seems to be wearing no make up. I spend ages on my make up, and never look as good as her. Where am I going wrong?
It sounds like you’re spending far too much time on your make up, which can lead to it looking overdone. Put less make up on, and you’ll have more time to apply it, so the outcome will be much better. Start with tinted moisturiser (see above) to give an even skin tone, and then add some mascara, and a flick of black liquid eyeliner. That’s all you need for a classic and elegant make up look, and you’ll look just as naturally chic as your workmate.
Quick Make Up Tip Five
My eyebrows are thick, and although I know this is fashionable, it’s difficult to find time during the day to keep them looking neat. Any ideas?
Actually, there are a couple of things you can do to keen eyebrows tamed throughout the day. Firstly, invest in some good quality eyebrow gel. This works a bit like hair gel: it is invisible and keeps individual eyebrows in place for the whole day. Or, if you’re strapped for cash, Vaseline will do the trick. It may not last as long, so swipe a bit on when you pop to the loo. There’s no need to comb, as the product helps move hairs into the right position.
